Miles to Go...

It's a Friday night. I'm sitting in my room with a few friends watching one of my favorite movies, "Born Into Brothels". A strange choice for a favorite movie, right? When I first watched this film over a year ago, I cried. Then I went home and made my best friends and a prospective student come with me to watch it again two days later.

No matter what we like to think, the desperation that "Born Into Brothels" documents is the reality for the majority of the world. It's because of this prevalent condition that I leave for Peru this summer.
